Lansdowne Surveys Ltd played a key role in the refurbishment of 1 Friary, a flagship commercial redevelopment in the Temple Quay area of Bristol, directly opposite Bristol Temple Meads. Delivered by Beard Construction, the scheme includes three new floors, a complete façade replacement with GRC cladding, and approximately 80,000 sq ft of modern office accommodation.
Scope included: site control network establishment, as-built surveys, setting out of curtain walling and cladding systems, structural steel setting out and line/level surveys in collaboration with CJN, and engineering support for reinforced concrete stair and lift cores with Thames Valley Construction.
