The Great House in Sonning is Perched by the River Thames, a sprawling country hotel housed in a former coaching inn and cottages dating from the Elizabethan times. The hotel was due for a refurb so the architects employed Lansdowne to carry out a full survey of the property.
A topographical survey was completed first, this also generated an external build line which was a start point for the internal floor plans (see below), whilst anothr LS team produced the elevation surveys, part of which can be seen above.
