Lansdowne have recently completed a number of 3D surveys for a ETFE roof specialist. The academic site in Swindon has a large span roof which consists of a steel domed framework and pressurised ETFE pillows.

Since it's construction a number of the pillows have degraded to the point where they are either loosing pressure or are fully deflated. The resulting 3D surveys have enabled our client to design and manufacture replacement pillows to replace those that have perished.

Half a dozen new pillows have been fitted as part of the first phase of repairs, with the balance of the roof to be completed in 2018.
