Full Description:
Lansdowne Surveys played a key role in supporting Willmott Dixon on the Bridgend College Town Centre Campus. The project delivers two new buildings with modern teaching facilities including a theatre, studios, workshops, and flexible learning spaces.
Lansdowne carried out detailed as-built surveys of all slab cast-in brackets across the structure. These surveys were critical in verifying that all cast-in channels were installed within the required tolerances for the first-fix bracket system supporting the modular façade panels. Given that the façade panels were manufactured and imported from Poland, there was minimal tolerance for error — Lansdowne's early identification of discrepancies enabled corrective measures before the panels arrived on site.
Services Delivered: As-Built Surveys, Structural Tolerance Surveys, QA Reporting
