Homewood Grove is a £43 million retirement community developed by Rangeford Villages and constructed by Willmott Dixon. Located on a 4.7-acre brownfield site near Chertsey, Surrey, the project began in 2022, with the completion set for Spring 2024.
Project Overview:
Apartments: 116 one-, two-, and three-bedroom units ranging from 700 to 1,200 sq ft
Facilities:
Wellbeing Centre: Includes a pool, steam room, and sauna
Fitness Amenities: Gym, dance studio
Social Spaces: Bistro, bar/coffee shop, members’ lounge, village hall, cinema room, hair and beauty salon
Additional Services: Concierge service, 24/7 staffing, electronic tablets for residents
Sustainability Features:
All-electric energy system
Underfloor heating and double-glazed picture windows
Photovoltaic panels
Air source heat pumps for the pool
Electric vehicle charging points and communal transport options
Our involvement on Homewood Grove was to provide gridlines and datums throughout the project, ensure M&E installation was set out and installed correctly, as well as carrying out various quality surveys throughout the project.
